ことし初めから縦書き文庫に一茶発句集を掲載している。8月からはシリーズ縦書きで｢一茶｣新年･春と改題し、校正･校閲作業を行っている。再編集をほぼ終えた新年･春の部の句数を集計したところ5,599句となり、4月時点と較べ381句増えた。入力データ洩れなどを追加したためだ。

縦書き文庫版としてすでに掲載している縦書きで｢一茶｣夏(4,765句、9月から再編集の予定)を加えると1万句を超え、2万2千句を超える一茶の俳句全体の半分近くになる。縦書き文庫版は一茶の全俳句を網羅することはできないが、これによって多くの人がスマホで一茶の俳句に親しめるようになれば、と期待している。

一茶の句の日常性や卑近性と洞察力、縦書き文庫とスマホの特性が相まって、俳句の世界(俳界)が広がることを願ってやまない。
